Khoo Chen Ai, a former student of MGS donated RM20 000 to the school for the building of a classroom at the Jungle Unit Block. The classroom is dedicated to the late Madam Wong Hau Ding, a long service teacher in MGS Penang until her retirement in 1968. The classroom will be named, "Bilik Wong Hau Ding".
