Projek Kitar Semula telah dijalankan selama 2 minggu. Murid-murid mengutip barang-barang yang boleh dikitar semula dan selepas 2 minggu dijual kepada Pusat Kitar Semula. Di bawah ialah gambar-gambar Projek Kitar Semula. Kelas 4 Biru telah mengutip terbanyak barang-barang yang boleh di kitar semula, kedua ialah Kelas 6 Biru dan ketiga ialah Kelas 5 Biru.

MGS Penang 121st Anniversary

A Thanksgiving service was held in the morning of 25 August 2012. It started with an opening prayer followed by hymns and songs of praise. Mr. Ong then led the scripture reading. There was a message by Dr. Chan Bee Lan(Head Girl,1965) entitled 'All We're Meant To Be'. The Secondary SCF sang 'Because of Your Love'. After that, there was a power point presentation about 'What the School Chapel Has Done For Me'. At around 10.30 a.m. there was the unveiling of the Photographs of the former Headmistresses and Principals. Everyone then proceeded to the site of the new School Block to witness the unveiling of the Sign Board for the new School Block. The ex-pupils also went on a tour of the School and had tea and refreshments in the School Canteen. Below are some photos of the Thanksgiving service.

There was a Gala Dinner to celebrate MGS Penang 121st Anniversary on Saturday, 25 August 2012 at Straits Quay Convention Centre. The MGS Choir sang 'Be Our Guest' before the start of the dinner. It was followed by the Welcome Speech from the Organizing Chairman, Dato' Kee Phaik Cheen. There were Table Draws, Lucky Draws, Building Fund Raffle and Auction of jewellery and a pair of Jimmy Choo shoes. There was a cake cutting ceremony and Mock Cheque Presentation by the PIBG of Primary and Secondary School for the School Building Fund. The climax of the evening was the item 'Stroll Down Memory Lane' with Elaine Kang and Musica Sinfonietta. Below are some photos of the Gala Dinner.
